A. Storage at Kurichi Post Office: Deduction without giving receipt to account

by time news
At Aravakurichi Post Office, people are disgruntled because of the delay in issuing receipts to the savings accounts of the beneficiaries.
Post offices are the most used by the people of Arawakurichi area and retired government employees next to banks. When the people of the area approach the Aravakurichi Post Office to open a new account, they take money from the people without providing any savings account book or acknowledgment slip and wander into the daily account.
Due to this, there is a situation where they return home without any documents after giving the money. Also, those who come to check the maturity accounts keep the Post Office Savings Account book and say that they are too busy to go and come.
Rajendran, a retired government employee, said:
When I went to deposit my pension amount of 50 thousand rupees at Aravakurichi post office, they took the money from me. They dragged it for more than a week without giving any account book or receipt.
Due to my insistence, a week after receiving 50 thousand rupees, they have given receipts that I have opened 50 separate accounts at the rate of one thousand rupees instead of in one form. Thus when I get the maturity amount, I will be in great trouble in my old age.
When I asked the concerned officer about this, he was indifferent without giving a proper answer.
Thus, he said.
