/ A strange collision occurred between two British warships while they were docked at a port in the Kingdom of Bahrain, according to a video circulating on the Internet and British media.
Video footage showed the collision of the British high-tech combat ship “HMS Chidding Fold” with the other ship “HMS Bangor”, which specializes in searching for sea mines, according to what the British “Mirror” and “Daily Mail” newspapers reported.
According to the two newspapers, none of their crew members were harmed in “this embarrassing marine collision,” but the two ships are being examined for damage, while other photos showed that one of them was damaged in its outer hull, according to what the Daily Mail reported.
A high-level naval investigation has been launched into the incident, which may be very expensive, especially since the costs of constructing the two warships are estimated at several million dollars, and how could this happen to two sensitive ships of this type.

A spokesman for the British Royal Navy told the Mirror newspaper: “We are aware of an incident involving two mine-hunting warships in the State of Bahrain, and there were no casualties as a result of this incident,” indicating that it is not appropriate to comment further while the investigations are ongoing.
According to the Mirror newspaper, the two ships are in the Gulf as part of Operation Cubion, Britain’s long-term air and naval presence in the Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean.
