He added that she had the operation successfully; And it turns out there is a mass of hair inside the stomach. And that the obstruction was extending from the cardia opening at the top of the instrument and the right of the pyloric aperture leading to the duodenum, and the mass was extracted in a cylindrical shape.
Its diameter is 9 cm and its length is 48 cm. The official statement of the Health of Al-Dinah Al-Munawwarah indicated that the patient left the hospital after recovering completely.
And medical sources in the hospital pointed out an explanation for the strange incident of the sick girl; This case is considered one of the rare cases, and the main cause is attributed to a psychological condition that forces the patient to eat his hair for many years.
