Al-Marsad Newspaper: A study found that not drinking enough water may increase the risk of death as a result of fatal diseases, including heart failure, stroke and diabetes, according to what was published in the EBioMedicine magazine.

A study revealed that adults who drink an insufficient amount of water can age quickly and have a 20 percent higher risk of dying than others.

A study concluded, based on analyzing the data of 11,000 people who participated in it, that not drinking enough water leads to a shorter life expectancy.

Scientists also discovered that people with sodium concentrations higher than 142 mmol per liter were 50 percent more likely to age quickly.

The study showed that the death of these people, increases by 20 percent. And that this is linked to their risk of developing fatal diseases, including heart failure, stroke, chronic lung disease, dementia, and diabetes.
