A sudden turn in the war in Ukraine – the withdrawal of Russian troops from the city of Kherson

by time news

Russian forces have been ordered to withdraw from the west bank of the Dnipro River in Ukraine’s Kherson region.

Speaking in a televised interview, General Sergey Surovykin said it was no longer possible to deliver supplies to the city of Kherson and other parts of the West Bank.

Saving players is important

“We have to save the lives of our soldiers and the fighting ability of our units. “Keeping them on the right (west) bank is futile. “Some of them can be used on other fronts,” he said.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu responded: “I accept your decisions and proposals. “Continue the withdrawal of forces and take all measures to transfer forces across the river,” he instructed.
