After a Monday morning under very cloudy skies and a few more showers, the trend will be calm in the afternoon from Brittany and the Pays de Loire to the Belgian border, according to forecasts from Météo-France.
The showers will be more rare and will be limited from Normandy to the North, the clouds will gradually give way to clearings. The southwesterly wind, still sensitive near the English Channel in the morning, will weaken over the hours.
From New Aquitaine to Franche-Comté, as well as in the Alps, cloudy periods will circulate in the morning and give some scattered rain. In the afternoon, only the relief of the Jura and the Alps will retain clouds and a few showers.
Heatwave alert maintained on Sunday
Elsewhere the day will be largely sunny in a summer atmosphere. Météo France maintained orange “heat wave” vigilance on Sunday in the Alpes-Maritimes (06). The westerly wind will become quite strong over the alpine terrain. On the Pyrenean chain, the south wind remains sensitive.

Minimum temperatures will range between 11 and 16 degrees in the northern half of the country and the Massif Central, locally 10 degrees, between 14 and 19 degrees elsewhere, 19 to 24 degrees in the Mediterranean regions. The maximum will range from 19 to 24 from Brittany to the west of Hauts de France, from 24 to 29 degrees in general, 28 to 33 degrees from Occitanie to the Alps up to 34 to 36 degrees over the Mediterranean regions and in the middle Rhône valley, even 37 in Languedoc, PACA and Corsica.
