A strong magnetic storm occurred on Saturday, November 5, according to the website of the Institute of Applied Geophysics (IPG).

Previously, scientists recorded magnetic flares on the Sun. At its peak, the magnetic disturbance reached the level G3, which is considered high: the minimum is G1, G5 is considered extreme. This is not a record level: the magnetic storm on April 23-24 this year reached G4 at its peak, which had not happened for several years before. Borax level G5 was last recorded on September 11, 2005.

Experts warn that there may still be interruptions in communication and equipment operation on Monday. People who are weather dependent will also feel the impact of the storm. But by evening, geomagnetic activity will begin to weaken.
