Employees of the Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) for the Oryol Region, with the participation of forensic investigators of the Main Directorate of Criminalistics, found in the village of Kazar, Zalegoschensky District, the body of 9-year-old Victoria G. who disappeared on June 18 this year. the suspect in the murder of the girl.
“Orlovskie Novosti” clarifies that the body of Victoria G. was buried at a depth of two meters in the basement of the apartment building in which she lived. The investigators managed to identify the girl by her clothes, the ICR confirmed to Kommersant. At present, investigators are examining the scene of the incident, and it is planned to appoint forensic, medico-forensic and molecular-genetic examinations.
The suspect, according to Kommersant, is a local resident born in 1960. In relation to him, the necessary investigative actions and operational measures are being carried out. The progress of the investigation of the criminal case is under the control of the central office of the TFR.
In search of Victoria G., who left home on June 18 and did not return, in addition to law enforcement agencies, employees of the Liza Alert search unit of the Oryol region participated. For almost three months, the foot groups examined the nearby territory of the villages of Kazar and Arkhangelskoye, and the divers – the water area, the bottom and the coastline of the Neruch River. Cynological calculations surveyed the surrounding area and settlements within a radius of 12 km. In total, the search engines have covered about 700 km.
