The Idaho State Police in the United States said today (Friday) that a suspect was arrested in connection with the murder case of the four young students from the University of Idaho last month, who were murdered together in their apartment in the dormitories.

The suspect’s name is Brian Christopher Koberger, 28 years old, and according to reports, he is a doctoral student in criminology. He was arrested about 4,000 kilometers from the scene of the murder, in Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania.

The shocking murder occurred on November 13, in which four students from the University of Idaho were found dead in their off-campus home with stab wounds. The local police said after the murder that according to the suspicion they were stabbed many times “when they were apparently asleep”. The four college students are 20-year-old Ethan Chapin, 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves, 20-year-old Zanna Karnodel and 21-year-old Madison Maughan. Their bodies were found on the second and third floors of the house, some with defensive wounds.
