As the students pray, the teacher – who has not been publicly identified – can be heard in the background saying “Wait, this is my office and you’re all doing all this magic.” She then appears to whistle to try to get their attention, walks right through them as they pray and even kicks one of the student’s hands. “I believe in Jesus, so I’m disturbing,” said the teacher, before asking again why they were in her office.

The students ignore the teacher and continue to pray, while someone else jumps in to respond and say: “They are praying.” The video sparked outrage on social media and has been viewed over 3 million times.
In response, the school released a statement saying: “Earlier today, a very disturbing TikTok video was shared with our management team. The video appears to record a teacher disturbing students during prayer. Upon receipt of the video, the school management immediately began investigating the situation.” The school stated that it “does not tolerate discriminatory behavior.”
