Florida – Two men have been arrested in connection with the abduction and brutal beating of a teenage girl from Alabama who then crossed the border and tied her to a tree in a remote area of Jackson, Florida, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said. Combi Jerome Jordan and Molly Michelle Jarrett were arrested.
The teenager went missing on Friday. Jordan, who was arrested from Alabama, transported the girl in a vehicle. On the way two more women got into the vehicle with him. The girl was brought to a vacant building in Jackson around 1 a.m. Saturday. After harassing the girl, Jordan tied her hands and feet and tied her to a tree there.
On Saturday morning, a neighbor informed the police that the child was tied to a tree. The police also said that the girl survived as she was rushed to the hospital. A case has been filed against Jordan, who was arrested, for the crimes of robbery withholding and destruction of evidence. Molly Michelle Jarrett has also been charged.
