Police arrested two suspects, a father and son, city residents in their 20s and 50s, in an attempt to set fire to the lobby.
The arrest was made after Lod police officers opened an investigation upon receiving a report from the police station about an incident of igniting a trash can in the building.
In accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police requested the court to continue their detention this evening, and at the end of the hearing, the Magistrate’s Court in Rishon LeZion determined the extension of their detention until 3.1.22.
The investigation into the incident continues.

According to city cameras, he arrived by car directly at your building, without walking around the neighborhood, and it is clear that he knows the building. I ask anyone who has information to pass it on to the police immediately. It is also possible through me.
