A three-year-old boy was injured after falling into a canal in Panambilly Nagar, Kochi. A three-year-old boy who was walking with his mother in Panampilly Nagar, Kochi, fell into the stream. The child fell into the drain through the gap in the pavement. The incident took place at Oda on the walkway near Granthpura Library in Panambilly Nagar.

The child was completely submerged in dirty water. It was only because of the opportune intervention of the mother that the child did not drift away. The mother suddenly rushed to the door and held the child up with her legs.

The boy was saved from the river by the young man who came running after hearing his mother’s screams. The injured child was admitted to a private hospital. Although the injury was not serious, the child was kept under observation for 24 hours.
The health condition of the child is satisfactory.

The boy got off the metro and was walking with his mother and father. In the meantime, he lost his footing and fell into Kana. Many times the local residents and the councilor have demanded that the well be covered. However, it is alleged that no necessary steps have been taken for this.
