This Thursday afternoon a spectacular event was recorded accident at kilometer 42 of the highway Mexico-Pueblain which a trailer without brakes rammed into workers of Federal Roads and Bridges of Revenue and Related Services (Capufe)who were carrying out maintenance work on the road.
After impacting with the workers who were painting stripes on the shoulder, the trailer collided with a pickup truck that overturned due to the impact, in which more Capufe personnel were present.

Authorities report that the accident resulted in three dead workers and six other injured people, and that all traffic in the direction of Mexico City has been closed.
Members of the National Guard and the Mexican Red Cross attended the scene to stop traffic and provide assistance to the victims, as well as providing forensic services to remove the bodies.

The road remains closed to traffic due to clean-up work and removal of damaged vehicles.
