So due to the city’s unique topography and high construction density, railway engineers and city planners had to implement a unique way to build a major monorail line. There were only 2 options when it was decided to implement this monorail project. Either using the entire storied building for monorail for train traffic or cleaning only 2 floors and making a tunnel for train movement. It is noteworthy that the experts chose the second option, although unusual.
Meanwhile, Light rail is known as one of the quietest train lines in China due to its smoke-free design and low noise and low vibration levels. So residents do not need to fear or worry about noise pollution as this train generates only about 60 decibels of noise during its operation.
