Cairo – Samia Sayed – There is a handy iPhone trick that solves one of the worst charging blunders, most users charge their iPhones almost daily, but if you have had an iPhone for years, you might have encountered the problem of charging failure.

You may have forgotten to turn on the power, or the USB cable may not be connected to the adapter correctly.

You may not have secured your wireless charger properly, or inserted the entire Lightning cable.

Any of these issues could mean that you wake up in the morning without charging your iPhone.

Fortunately there is a way to avoid this scenario altogether.

You can have Siri speak out loud when your smartphone is connected.

And she’ll also speak up when he’s fired.

This way you will know that your iPhone is definitely connected correctly when you plug it in.

And if it is accidentally disconnected you will be alerted as well.

It works with Siri Shortcuts, a relatively new feature that was added with the iOS 14 update.

How to set up Siri charging ads on iPhone

First, make sure you have the latest iOS version running in Settings, then General, and then Software Update.

Then open the Apple Shortcuts app.

Go to Automation and then click on the plus sign in the upper-right corner.

Choose Create Personal Automation.

Scroll down the list to find the charger and then choose Check Connection and Check Disconnect.

Now press Next and then go to Add Action.

Choose and tap Speak Text, then tap the faint “Text” area to add words.

These words are what Siri will say out loud, so consider adding something like “Charging iPhone.”

Now click Next again and turn off Ask Before Playing.

Confirm with “don’t ask” when the popup appears as well.

You can also deselect “Notify when Run” to stop useless alerts.

Click Done and the process is complete.

Siri will now speak when your iPhone is connected or disconnected from a charger.
