From a broken artificial nail to a hammer to a truck, almost anything can be a sign of crime, which the authorities seize after committing a crime. The fate of the evidence is decided by the judge at the end of the court proceedings. You can destroy them or return them. However, these criminal trials usually take a long time, and until then the evidence must be stored somewhere. The Szeged Court of Justice previously announced an interesting public procurement procedure for this, which has now been amended, but only to the extent that the framework was raised, i.e., it is now about more cars than before. After the amendment, the court entrusted Roncs Autó Kft., the winner of the tender, with taking care of a total of 120 vehicles. These can include cars, trucks, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, trailers, and even buses. In addition to these, they also have to keep other movables, such as machines and large tools.
According to the contract, the winner’s task is to fully comply with the regulation on the management, registration, preliminary sale and destruction of things seized in criminal proceedings, as well as the implementation of confiscation. The basic data, errors, crashes and other repairs and everything else affecting its value and usability must be indicated, and at least 4 digital photographs must be taken of it. It was also stipulated that the vehicles seized as evidence of crime must be stored in a fenced area of at least 1,000 square meters in Csongrád-Csanád county, of which at least 400 square meters are covered. The total amount of the public procurement was HUF 41,711,000.
