Turk then pretended to be a 16-year-old girl
Turkish citizen born in North Rhine-Westphalia took on a new internet identity, disguised as a 16-year-old girl and reconnected with a 13-year-old girl from Lower Austria. After long conversations, she gained the trust of the 13-year-old girl, who also told her about the “38-year-old” person. Having contacted the girl at the age of 16 as a “good friend”, the 48-year-old convinced the naive boy that he should give the man another chance, that everything was not so bad.
Eventually, the 48-year-old man and the 13-year-old reunited via social media and agreed to meet, this time in Lower Austria. Allegedly, at this meeting, the Turk blindfolded the child and recorded the sexual abuse.
Video of abuse found on mobile phone
It was by chance and thanks to the investigative work of the prosecutor’s office in Kassel that the man had to be tried in Krems. Investigating the man for suspected possession of child pornography and confiscating his mobile phone, the Kassel prosecutor’s office found the abuse video on the device and eventually turned the case over to the Austrian authorities.
After the investigations were inconclusive, Krems Prosecutor’s Office filed a criminal complaint against the 48-year-old Turk. On Friday, Turk was sentenced to eight years in prison for aggravated sexual abuse at the Krems District Court. (yenivatan.at)
