Hundreds of people evacuated al-Chifa hospital, on the fourth day of the raid launched by the Israeli army on the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip. They headed towards the Salaheddine road, which leads to the south of the territory where the Israeli army is urging the population to take refuge.
Six doctors, however, will remain at the hospital to care for 120 patients, as well as premature babies, who cannot be transferred, said one of them, Dr. Ahmed el-Mokhallalati, on X. Israel assures that Hamas uses the hospital as a military base, which the Islamist movement denies.

The Hamas Health Ministry reported the deaths of more than 80 people on Saturday in two separate Israeli strikes in the Jabaliya camp, the largest refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip. The first strike, on a school which housed displaced people, left at least 50 dead, and the second, on a house, killed 32 members of the same family, including 19 children.
Confirming at least partially this information, the head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) denounced the strikes on Saturday “terrible” on schools housing displaced people in Gaza. “We are receiving appalling images of numerous deaths and injuries once again in an UNRWA school which sheltered thousands of displaced people in the north of the Gaza Strip”wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Philippe Lazzarini.

Five Palestinian fighters from Fatah, the movement of President Mahmoud Abbas, were killed on Saturday in a very rare airstrike on Nablus, a large city in the north of the occupied West Bank, said the Palestinian Red Crescent and sources within Fatah.
The Israeli army, for its part, announced that it had “eliminated a number of terrorists in Balata”the Nablus refugee camp, which houses 24,000 people, according to the UN which manages it.

A first delivery of fuel, after the green light given by Israel, arrived Friday evening in the Gaza Strip, in order to restart the electricity generators of hospitals and telecommunications networks in the besieged territory.
At the request of the United States, Israel authorized the daily entry of two tanker trucks. The Rafah Crossing Authority announced Friday evening that 17,000 liters of fuel had been delivered.
