A unique discovery of the “Hope Probe” .. Is time on Mars similar to our planet?

by time news

The project of the United Arab Emirates to explore the planet Mars, which is known as the “Probe of Hope”, has detected a somewhat strange phenomenon on the red planet, which makes it different from the planet Earth.

According to local newspapers, the “Hope Probe” announced that there is a discrepancy in the hours of the day within the clouds of icy water on the surface of Mars, using the infrared spectrometer, during a clip that was captured for approximately 11 seconds, published by the “Hope Probe” project. on Twitter.

The most important task of the spectrometer is to study the lower atmosphere of the red planet within the infrared ranges, and thus provide the largest amount of information from the lower atmosphere, in conjunction with observations from the exploration camera.

The length of one day on the surface of Mars is 24 hours and 37 minutes, different from the planet Earth, where the duration of one day is exactly 24 hours, while the Martian year reaches 687 Earth days, and the Hope probe currently continues to rotate in its planned scientific orbit around Mars, It ranges between 20,000 and 43,000 km and has a tilt toward Mars of 25 degrees, giving it the superior ability to complete one orbit around the planet every 55 hours, and capture comprehensive observations of the planet every 9 days.

The planet Mars is filled with many strange phenomena, as NASA announced, a few days ago, the discovery of a strange object resembling “trash” located between two rocks in a strange position, on the surface of Mars, which amazed everyone.

While searching for traces of ancient bacterial life on Mars, NASA’s rover discovered something trapped in jagged rock, which later turned out to be a refractory material the space agency used to protect its spacecraft from extreme temperatures as it traveled to Mars and re-entered the atmosphere.
