The Neukölln DJ Max Kobosil is a professional, he always has his cameraman Jimi with him. Kobosil not only hosts international giant raves, but has also had its own fashion label for three years.
In this double function he jets from one party to the next and in between designs the runway collections for his 44 Label Group. That’s a lot of material. The latest pictures are now available on YouTube.
After Kobosil had previously presented his fashion in Milan, he presented a collection in Paris for the first time in January. For this purpose, a raw concrete loft was rented on the Boulevard de Vaugirard in the 15th arrondissement, where the Belgian Dries Van Noten also likes to hold his fashion shows.
However, the 44 Label Group did without a classic fashion show, instead there was a hearty techno bash. Models and Berlin VIPs such as the Kreuzberg rapper Ufo361 and the Berghain legend Sven Marquardt mingled with the guests in the looks of the new autumn/winter collection. “This time we wanted to bring the fashion industry into our world,” says Kobosil about the concept.
In a recently released video, the Paris rave can now be seen from the preparations to the fittings and the day after. Incidentally, you learn that Max Kobosil has over 50,000 unread emails on his cell phone, keeps himself awake during the day with guarana tablets from his DJ colleague Amelie Lens and has had his breakfast at the Ritz at least once.
