by time news

A short time ago (Friday) a violent explosion shook the center of Donetsk in the Rostov Oblast in eastern Ukraine. The blast reportedly occurred several dozen meters from a government building controlled by Russian separatists (DPR).

The separatists’ announcement confirmed the reports of the incident, and said it was a car bomb blast in a nearby parking lot. Photos from the scene of the explosion show a large fire that broke out in the center of the parking lot, but the nearby buildings were not damaged and no casualties were reported.

In addition, the evacuation of civilians began in Donetsk. Long columns of documented vehicles were leaving the area.
