A week for the launch of iPhone 14 in Israel: where should you buy?

In six more days it happens: Rosh Hashanah will come early for thousands of Israelis who consider themselves (or not, for reasons of lack of awareness, denial or simply because they did not receive official permission from Apple to brag about it) die-hard fans of Apple and its iPhone series, when the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will start to be sold in Israel. It will happen on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, October 22, in stores that bother to open themselves for a “white night”, and in the morning in all the rest.

If you have not yet ordered an iPhone during the day (Thursday), immediately after the opening of the pre-order, or you are waiting first to see its stock in stores, to touch, play and try before spending thousands of shekels (always a smart move) – we are here to help you understand where it is best for you buy the new device. All the major chains offer installment for payments and free home delivery – but there are a few things besides the price that you should know.

If you want the basic device, and pay the lowest possible price for it, the version with 128 GB storage is the cheapest on Hot Mobile – where all the other new devices are more expensive than any other network – and on KSP. The latter offers, in addition to a spread of 36 payments without interest and free shipping, also a connection to electricity and discounts on the purchase of accessories (because, as we know, Apple devices come with a cable but without a power plug); If you want the same device with 256 gigabytes – you will find it at the lowest price at Rami Levy; And if you want it with the maximum volume, so that it doesn’t fill up easily – at Amirim Patzah you will pay the lowest price for the 512 GB version.

For the iPhone 14 Pro – that is, the model with the most advanced specifications and the more reasonable screen size – you will pay the least at KSP – when there is stock, at least. The network’s pre-sale inventory for this device is already sold out, but once the sale starts it will likely be renewed within a few days at the same price; The 128 gigabyte version is sold at the same price at electrical stores, where you can choose between 36 credit payments or 36 payments by standing order through Blender, and even return the device within 90 days as part of the company’s “trial” option; The 256 GB model is sold at the same price as KSP by Amirim Hatza and Partner; the 512 GB model is sold at the same price at Dynamika and Rami Levy; and the particularly large model with a terabyte of storage is sold in very few stores, and the cheapest of them, apparently, Pelephone – but Pelephone hides a dark secret: its low price is only valid for those who divide the payment into up to six parts. Since almost no one does this, for the normal majority it is probably better to purchase this model at Partner or at Amirim Patza – the latter sells it at 20 shekels and 30 interest-free payments more than Pelephone, while in Partner only 12 payments are interest-free, while more than that adds about 16% to the price (in Cellcom, by the way, the situation is similar – it seems that the cellular providers “punish” those who are not customers who pay for the devices in the monthly account, then we will enjoy 36 interest-free payments).

iPhone 14 Pro Max is also sold in all versions except the largest (in terms of storage capacity) at the lowest price in KSP, with the 128 version being sold at the same price in electrical stores, the 256 version in Partner and Amirim, and the 512 version in Dynamika and Rami Levy. The terabyte version will cost you the lowest price in Emirim and Partner.

So far we have only mentioned prices and payment layout, but there is another way to reduce the purchase of a new device – trade-in. iDigital is the only chain that announced the possibility of trade-in, where on the previous iPhone you will receive a refund of up to NIS 1,500. However, even though iDigital is the only one that published this specifically regarding the iPhone 14, there are quite a few chains in Israel that provide trade-in services, so it is likely that you will receive similar refunds in most of the competitors. It is always a good idea to find out with each of the companies how much they will reduce the price of the new device for the device you currently have and according to its condition.
