The officers informed about the ongoing pre-trial investigation in the summaries, adding that, to their knowledge, the children were abused by an unidentified woman.
After the investigation began, her personality was established – the officers were preparing to find and interrogate her in the near future.
However, the woman from Panevėžys contacted the authorities herself after reading that law enforcement was looking for her: “I was in shock.”
On Tuesday morning, she told the portal lrytas.lt that she had already been questioned, that she had been charged with the case.
“I didn’t really hit the girls. That I grabbed a penny, that’s right. But I didn’t really beat them.
At the moment, I am under suspicion of using violence,” the interviewer testified.
According to the portal lrytas.lt, the parents of minors appealed to law enforcement.
“There is a pre-trial investigation for possible physical pain or health impairment. All circumstances are currently being clarified.
The woman was not previously known to law enforcement,” Odeta Jukniūtė, head of the Communications Sub-Department of Panevėžys County Chief Police Commissariat, informed the portal lrytas.lt.
Officials did not comment further on this case, as minors appear in the case.
The woman who came into the police’s sight on Tuesday also did not want to tell the portal in more detail about the circumstances of the conflict.
