A year and a half after the Miron disaster, Tania Hevroni – the widow of Jonathan Hevroni who was killed in the disaster, got engaged to her chosen one, Idan.
Hebroni is a resident of Givat Shmuel and a mother of three daughters. She works as a nurse at the Ma’ayeni Hashua hospital in Bnei Brak.
The late Yonathan Hevroni was an avarach in the kollel of the Beit Midrash community in Givat Shmuel. Upon his passing in the Meron disaster, the Yeshiva issued a statement: “Shabbat from the heart of our hearts, we have become mourning from our sickness.” Beit Midrash Givat Shmuel mourns the passing of our beloved, the beloved of our hearts, the dear and righteous Havarach, Yonatan Hebroni ztzel, in the difficult event in Miron.
This is not the first event held today related to the Miron disaster. A Bar Mitzvah party was held in Jerusalem this evening for Levi Yitzchak, son of the late Rabbi Ariel Tsadik who was also killed in the Miron disaster.
