Marquees, canteens at free prices, speeches, music: a joyful and family atmosphere, despite the presence on the Saïx site of a few hooded individuals from the morning. The gendarmes will even count in the procession a hundred people, dressed in black and equipped with umbrellas, potentially coming to do battle with the police. It has not happened. Between the citizen spirit of the demonstrators, the system deployed (800 men) and the “see without being seen” strategy of the mobile gendarmes, the event took place without incident.
