New method tax evasion its auditors “revealed”. Independent Public Revenue Authorityin private parties, organized in luxurious villas, in Mykonos. These are parties, which are advertised on social media, as officially organized by event management companies.

Ostensibly they are conducted legally, however AADE auditors found that this is not the case.

In particular, with a special and detailed operation, in cooperation with the police, they raided a villa in Pyrgi, Mykonos.

There they found that a French company had rented the place to organize a party, with a famous DJ, who stopped the music and left the place, as soon as he saw the inspectors. Those who were there had paid 300 euros each. Amount, which guaranteed them access both to the space and to the bar and buffet of the party.

As it turned out, this company had not declared the start of its activity. Also, no customer had received a receipt, with the total amount exceeding 50,000 euros. No invoices had been cut, not even for the rental of the sound installations – an amount of more than 5,000 euros -, while corresponding tax violations were recorded for the other services, such as wine cellar, catering, security, etc.

Both the organizers and all the suppliers of the party will pay their respective fines and will be audited for a period of five years, since the auditors estimate that this has been done continuously.
