Her auditors AADE they proceeded to seal a business in Chania for 48 hours and impose a fine on another.
As they found out there was not issuing a large number of retail receipts, in businesses that served the venue for a major music event, specifically within the National Stadium of Chania, which was held yesterday, Monday, August 5, in the center of the city of Chania. This had the result, according to Georgios Archangelakis, Head of D.O.Y. Chania, the services of AADE, to apply the suspension measure, based on the provisions of article 13A of Law 2523/1997.

From the competent Services, taxpayers are reminded that, in the context of tax justice, they must demand the issuance of a receipt for each of their purchases and that they have the right not to pay the price, when they do not receive a receipt from the company’s Cash System ( Tax Electronic Mechanism or Electronic Data Issuance Service Provider). As they emphasize, proof of the bank’s POS is not enough, in case of payment by card.
