UIDAI has given information on this matter by tweeting from its official Twitter handle, you can easily update your demographic details like name, date of birth, gender, address. For this, you need only one OTP on the registered mobile number. To update demographic details, you can pay Rs. 50 fee is enough.

Update Aadhaar in this way
1. For this, first visit the official website of Aadhaar, ssup.uidai.gov.in.
2. Next click on Proceed option.
3. Next enter the 12 digits of your Aadhaar and the login page will open.
4. After this you fill the given captcha and click Send OTP. Now an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter it.
5. After entering the OTP, another new page will open. In this, you will get the option to update all your personal details like name, gender, address, date of birth etc.
6. Click on the option you want to update. Copy of PAN Card, DL, Voter ID Card or Ration Card should be uploaded as proof of identity.
7. Next deposit a fee of Rs.50. Pay this fee through net banking, credit or debit card.
8. After this you will receive a verification OTP on your number to change the name, address, gender you enter. Your details will be updated in Aadhaar.
