jpnn.comJAKARTA – Celebrity couple Aaliyah Massaid and Thariq Halilintar have given statements at Polda Metro Jaya on Friday (30/8).
The husband and wife were questioned as informants regarding a report of an alleged defamation case on social media.
When questioned, Aaliyah Massaid and Thariq Halilintar were asked around 23 questions by investigators.
“The number of questions is 23, the scope of the questions regarding the alleged criminal acts that we reported is Article 27A in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph 4 of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning ITE and/or Article 310, Article 311 and Article 315 of the Criminal Code,” said Aaliyah Massaid and Thariq Halilintar’s attorney, Sangun Ragahdo, as reported by Antara.
Sangun Ragahdo explained that Aaliyah Massaid reported to the police because she felt that her honor and good name had been tarnished.
A number of accounts are suspected of spreading hoaxes or fake news about his personal life.
“What is said and has been circulating in various mass media and online media is that Aaliyah Massaid was pregnant out of wedlock, whereas how is it possible that on the wedding day of July 26, 2024, Aaliyah was menstruating,” he explained.
Aaliyah Massaid’s husband, Thariq Halilintar, explained that initially he was the one who wanted to make a report to Polda Metro Jaya.
