Kochi : Antony Varghese has announced the release of the movie Anaparambile World Cup starring Pepe. Directed by debutant Nikhil Pramraj, the film will hit theaters on October 21. The film is set in the background of football and has Indian legend IM Vijayan in the lead role.
The film is produced by Stanley CS and Faisal Latif under the banner of Achapu Movie Magican and Mass Media Production. The film will be a feel-good entertainer set in the backdrop of football.

Director Nikhil himself has scripted the film. The makers have described the film as a fantasy sports drama. The film is set in a football-loving village in Uttara Kerala. The theme of the film is about the arrival of an unexpected guest in the life of a football-loving boy and the changes that follow.
Apart from Antony Varghese and IM Vijayan, TG Ravi, Balu Varghese, Adil Ibrahim, Nishant Sagar, Lukman, Jopaul Ancheri, Archana Vasudev, Jayce Jose, Asif Zaheer, Dinesh Mohan and Danish are also appearing in the lead roles in the film. The song sung by Hisham Abdul Wahab in the film has already gained attention.

The cinematography of the film is done by Faiz Siddique. The editing of the film is done by Naufal Abdullah and the production controller is Badusha. , Makeup Jithu Payyannoor, Chief Associate Director Premnath, Product Designer Anutan Varghese, Costume Design Arun Manohar.
