New Delhi : Talks between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress regarding alliance in Haryana assembly elections have got stuck. Several rounds of meetings were held between party leaders from both sides. However, the seat sharing formula could not be finalized. In such a situation, this discussion started when Congress released the first list of candidates. Meanwhile, amid uncertainty about alliance with Congress, Aam Aadmi Party even issued a warning on Saturday. AAP’s National Secretary (Organization) Sandeep Pathak said that those who underestimate the party will have to regret it. The party is ready to contest all 90 seats in Haryana with full strength.

The alliance talks between AAP and Congress are stuck over seat sharing. According to insiders, AAP has demanded 10 seats, while Congress is offering five to seven seats.

Voting will be held in Haryana on October 5. The last date for filing nominations is September 12. When asked how many seats AAP will contest if it forms an alliance with Congress, she said that talks are going on, so it is too early to comment on this.

Aam Aadmi Party is continuously campaigning in Haryana. Party chief Arvind Kejriwal is in jail, so his wife Sunita Kejriwal addressed public meetings in the state. Priyanka Kakkar said that we are ready to contest on all 90 seats. Earlier, AAP sources had claimed on Friday that talks regarding alliance are on the verge of breaking down. They also claimed that the party is planning to contest on 50 seats. It may release the first list of its candidates on Sunday.
