The pre-promo video of ‘Aaraattu’ trailer directed by B Unnikrishnan starring Mohanlal has been released. In the promo video, the plot of the movie is presented through sketches. The trailer will be released on January 1 at 11 am as a New Year’s gift for the fans. The dubbing of the film, which is slated to release on February 10, was completed in the second week of this month.
After ‘Villain’, B Unnikrishnan is all set to play Mohanlal in the lead role. The entire title of the film is ‘Neyyattinkara Gopan’s Arat’. Mohanlal arrives as Gopanai. The plot of the movie is about Gopan arriving in Palakkad from his native Neyyattinkara for a specific purpose and the subsequent events. Screenwriter Udayakrishna has described the film as a masala film starring Mohanlal. The film stars Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Johnny Antony, Indrans, Nandu, Sheela, Swasika, Malavika and Rachana Narayanankutty.
