A remake of Bhargavi Nilayam
Tovino Thomas and Asif Ali will play the lead roles in the movie Neelavelicham directed by Aashiq Abu. After Mayanadi, Virus and Naradan, Tovino Thomas will be seen in Aashiq Abu’s film again. Asif Ali and Aashiq Abu will be seen together in Salt and Pepper and Virus.
Earlier, Kunchacko Boban and Prithviraj were the heroes. Bhargavi Nilayam is a 1964 film directed by A.Vincent based on the short story ‘Neelavelicham’ by Vaikom Mohammad Basheer. Bhargavi Nilayam is one of the best masterpieces in Malayalam cinema. It is also the first horror film in Malayalam. Blue Light is a remake of Bhargavi Nilayam. It is learned that Tovino Thomas and Asif Ali will play the roles played by Madhu and Prem Nazir. Saubin Shahir and Rima Kallingal will also be in the cast. The cast itself is lined up in the film. The shooting of Neelavelichath will start in Kannur in April. The set work of the film has started. Shyam Pushkar is writing the script. Santhosh T. Kuruvilla produces blue light. Santosh T is also producing Kunchacko Boban’s movie Na Than Case Kod which is in progress. It is a nut.
