South African batsman AB de Villiers has announced his retirement from international cricket in 2018. De Villiers’ sudden announcement of retirement from international cricket a year before the 2019 One – Day Cricket World Cup came as a shock to fans.

De Villiers, who has only played in other T20 leagues since then, including the IPL, has not played well in the IPL for the past few seasons. His batting has not had any impact on the RCB team in the IPL in recent times.

De Villiers pulls for Delhi Daredevils and RCB teams in IPL. His highest score was 133 * against the Mumbai Indians in the 2015 IPL.

Apart from the IPL, he has played in various T20 league series including De Villiers, Barbados Tridents, Brisbane Heat, Lahore Calendars, Middlesex, Rangpur Raiders, South Africans, Titans & Schwein Sportens.

De Villiers has amassed 9424 runs in a total of 340 matches in T20 cricket. De Villiers has amassed 10689 runs in 141 matches in first-class cricket and Audi 11123 runs in 263 List A matches.
