Betar Jerusalem has gone through one of the hardest seasons in its history, and it may have been just a promo for the summer that awaits it, but in the meantime the club continues to work on the upcoming season. The most intriguing name is of course coach Yossi Aboksis, .
Aboksis, who has stated several times that he wants to stay at the club, is scheduled to meet in the coming days with the trustee, lawyer Yitzhak Junger, to see if it can be concluded that he will be the coach next season as well. If such an agreement is reached in the coming days, Aboksis will sit down with Barak Abramov in order to be released from his contract with Bnei Yehuda for another two years.
In the meantime, Betar hopes that the free agents will not find other destinations and will wait for the team for at least another week. Adi Tamir is wanted in Cyprus, and Max Grechkin is also heading abroad. The team is on the verge of closing with the Moshava Stadium, where the team will start the Toto Cup games, and probably the first rounds of the league, due to the extensive renovation that will take place in Teddy after the Maccabiah.
