jpnn.comJAKARTA – One of the candidates for the Purwakarta regional head election, Abang Ijo Hapidin, launched the Tour Ngahijo or Ngariung Sareng Bang Ijo (gathering with Bang Ijo) program.

Bang Ijo hopes that through Ngahijo his various views and ideas about advancing Purwakarta can be communicated well.

He explained that Ngahijo is a two-way event that accepts public input openly, and tells about their opinions and experiences in receiving services from the government.

“Not only government services, through Ngahijo, the public will be educated, have dialogues, and interact with professional sources to support my efforts to compete in the Purwakarta Pilkada,” said Bang Ijo in his statement, Tuesday (16/7).

When asked about the reason for holding the Ngahijo safari, he explained that if you want rapid change to occur in society, what must be done is to change the mentality and way of thinking of society regarding the problems around them.

“The public must have the courage to express their opinions, the courage to argue and the courage to speak with data and rationality, not prioritizing emotions without facts. Ngahijo is designed for that,” he continued.

“Through Ngahijo, I will talk about ideas and concepts to advance the Purwakarta community, especially the dream for Purwakarta to have a distinctive, unique and high-impact pride icon, especially in the economic sector,” explained Bang Ijo.

Abang Ijo Abidin himself is a native son of Purwakarta who has entered politics.
