Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdock has returned to power after being ousted in a military coup in Sudan. Hamdock signs power-sharing agreement with military ruler General Abdel Fattah Burhan But the Citizens’ Alliance, which backed Hamdock to become prime minister two years ago, has not approved the new deal. It was decided between the army and the political parties to release all the political prisoners. The army fired tear gas at protesters marching on the capital, Khartoum, demanding their complete withdrawal.
