Abdelkabir Rgaguena elected president of the National Mutual of Artists
Rabat – Mr. Abdelkabir Rgaguena has just been elected in Casablanca as the new president of the National Mutual of Artists (MNA)
This election took place during the MNA General Assembly held on March 26 at its headquarters in Casablanca, the legal quorum having been reached, in accordance with the internal regulations, specifies a press release from the MNA.
This session, marked by the examination and adoption of the moral and financial reports, in addition to the closing of the accounts and the report of the Control and Audit Commission for 2023, also allowed the election of the governing bodies of the MNA, adds the same source.
Two candidates were in the running for the post of president: artists Moulay Ahmed Alaoui and Abdelkabir Rgaguena.
The press release notes that the election took place in “a climate of democracy and transparency”, noting that the members of the National Mutual of Artists stressed the need to preserve this important achievement while welcoming the efforts made by the previous governing bodies and the outgoing president of the MNA.
