Abdelkader tries to open the dialogue and approaches his wife. “She took a knife and threatened to plant me. I didn’t think she was capable of doing such a thing. I didn’t take it seriously and took it one step further. As a result, the wife joined the action to the word and planted her weapon in the thigh of her husband. “At the time, I didn’t feel anything. Then the blood began to flow. »
Law enforcement asks embarrassing questions. And the violent spouse tells anyone who will listen that her husband sat on a knife that was on the sofa. Abdelkader does not file a complaint and aligns himself with the accidental version of the event. This woman was not violent at the beginning of their relationship. It was when their daughter was born that she turned into a domestic tyrant, according to him: “I couldn’t take it anymore, she was kicking and slapping me and there were constant arguments. »

The psychological impact is enormous: “It hurt my heart a lot. I lost my dignity. When I thought about it, I said to myself: You are no longer a man. I have to tell you that I don’t let myself get carried away in life. If someone attacks me, I respond immediately. But there, I did not know how to react. »
Even after their separation, the violence continued. “In January 2021, I brought our daughter home. She provoked me and hit me several times with an umbrella, I almost lost an eye,” he says. But now Abdelkader is no longer the same man: “I learned to put things into perspective and I analyzed his behavior. I think she was beaten when she was a child and she reproduces the same acts. “But now, he no longer lets himself be done:” I filmed the last attack with my phone and I filed a complaint against her. »
