jpnn.com – Persib Bandung will meet Persis Solo in the 17th week of Liga 1 2024/25 at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Sunday (29/12/2024) evening.

In this match, Persib coach Bojan Hodak reminisced about his former teammate, Abdul Aziz, who is now defending Persis.

Aziz has been in Persib uniform since 2019. However, at the start of this season, the 30 year old footballer was loaned to Persis.

Even though he has changed clubs, Aziz still has minimal playing minutes. His statistics when defending Persis were not that good.

Aziz has only been played seven times by Coach Persis Ong Kim Swee.

Hodak also explained his reasons for letting Abdul Aziz go. The coach from Croatia wants his team to prove their abilities, which are difficult to find at Persib, especially since Maung Bandung is home to many players with promising performance.

“That’s the reason why we let him go, because he can’t play here, and even in Solo he is still having difficulties,” said Hodak, Friday (27/12/2024).

According to him, Aziz needs to improve his game if he wants to play regularly in every match.

Persib coach Bojan Hodak will meet his former protégé Abdul Aziz when they visit Persis Solo.
