jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung ended the player transfer market by loaning midfielder Abdul Aziz to Persis Solo.

Abdul Aziz was loaned to Laskar Sambernyawa with a one-year contract. His move came after the player was no longer included in coach Bojan Hodak’s scheme for the 2024/25 season.

Interim Sporting Director of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB) Adhitia Putra Herawan said that the decision to loan Abdul Aziz to Persis Solo was to provide the player in question with the opportunity to develop further.

“By being loaned to Persis Solo, we hope that the player in question can get more playing opportunities than at Persib,” said Adhit in his statement, Wednesday (14/8/2024).

Joining Persib ahead of the 2019 Liga 1, Abdul Aziz has appeared in 56 matches.

However, last season, this midfielder, who was born in Bandung on February 14, 1994, only appeared in three matches.

Aziz’s position began to shift with the arrival of a number of other well-known names such as Dedi Kusnandar, Beckham Putra, and most recently Mateo Kocijan.

“Therefore, we want to give Abdul Aziz the opportunity to develop further with Persis Solo by loaning him,” he said.

Midfielder Abdul Aziz was officially loaned by Persib Bandung for one year to the Persis Solo club.
