About 100,000 hikers visited the nature reserves and national parks today (Saturday).

Among the prominent sites today were: Yarkon Tel Afek National Park with about 3800 hikers, Gan Hashlosha with about 3300 hikers, Ein Gedi Reserve with about 2,700 hikers and Caesarea with about 2400 hikers.

In addition, the Nature and Parks Authority will hold tours with guides on Independence Day as part of a joint venture with the Ministry of Tourism, at no additional cost to the entrance fees, Migdal Tzedek National Parks, Khan Sha’ar HaGai, Castel, Beit Guvrin and Ein Haniya.
