About 1,500 companies receive more support to develop new technology strategies

About 1,500 small and medium enterprises in Singapore are to receive additional support to develop new technology strategies.

They are helpful in conducting new experiments and expanding the business.

Three innovation centers have been set up for different sectors.

They also include features for the environment, urban agriculture, beauty-care services, etc. There are total 11 stations.

The centers will help small and medium enterprises to carry out research activities and receive training and consultancy services.

The new stations were announced during the Innovation and Technology Singapore Week.

The new stations have supported the completion of 300 technical projects
Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said.

He said that it is important for companies to go digital, he said that innovation, new products and solutions are necessary for business to flourish.
