In 2021, about 25 thousand small and medium-sized enterprises in Moscow received government support. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin.

“This year, about 25,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in Moscow have received various kinds of support measures,” Mr. Sobyanin said on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel (quoted by Prime). The mayor recalled that a new package of measures to support small and medium-sized businesses was adopted this week.

Earlier on the mayor’s website it was reported that about 110 thousand metropolitan small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to receive new support measures from the capital’s authorities. As part of these support measures, companies from the most affected sectors of the economy will be able to obtain soft loans. According to the terms, funds in the amount of up to RUB 300 million. will be provided for 18 months at a rate of 3%, provided that the number of employees remains at a level of at least 90%.

Prior to this, the city authorities approved a concessional lending program for large businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Under the program, companies will be subsidized 4% of the loan rate for a year, and in general, its size will not exceed 6% per annum. You can borrow 500 million rubles.
