Almost one thousand three hundred Novgorod residents are waiting for the light to be returned to them, said the regional department of the Ministry of Emergencies.

De-energized, according to rescuers, remain about a thousand houses in sixty-six settlements.

Most emergency workers work in Okulovsky and Pestovsky districts. As MK in Veliky Novgorod said, blackouts were also noted in Moshensky, Starorussky, Volotovsky, Poddorsky, Krestetsky and Lyubytinsky districts.

Veliky Novgorod, meanwhile, is preparing for 11 mm of precipitation on Tuesday. Snow and rain, according to forecasters, will go all day.
