One year paid leave for government employees to start business in UAE

Dubai: The government has announced benefits for government employees who are natives of the UAE to start a business. One year’s leave will be given to start ventures. In the announcement made a few days ago, it is said that the government will pay half of the salary during this period.

The announced benefits are part of an effort to encourage more natives to become entrepreneurs. The main attraction is that they can also retain their government jobs while using the leave to start ventures. The decision regarding this was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai on Thursday.
