Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi bans heavy vehicles Heavy vehicles were banned on Abu Dhabi and Al Ain roads during peak hours during Ramadan. Trucks, trailers, lorries and buses carrying more than 50 people are banned.

These vehicles are not allowed on the city roads from 8 to 10 in the morning and from 2 to 4 in the evening. Abu Dhabi police said the move was part of efforts to reduce traffic congestion and accidents.
