Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi revises Kovid standards for travelers from four countries The UAE has revised the Kovid standards for four nationalities: Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda and Ethiopia. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has mandated PCR-negative certificates to be taken within 48 hours of departure and 6 hours after departure.

These terms also apply to transit travelers from these countries. Kovid, meanwhile, has tightened controls in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi has decided to conduct special screenings for those arriving from other emirates. Those entering Abu Dhabi from other emirates in the UAE are being screened for Kovid symptoms.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency Management Agency said the entrance to Abu Dhabi would be inspected using an EDE scanner. Those suspected of having Kovid disease will soon receive a free antigen test at a center in Roderick. The test results will be available within 20 minutes.
