A ban on practicing may, depending on the results of the investigation, be pronounced. As for the other person implicated in the report, a member of the federation, she will be received by the sports management and is likely to be suspended as a precaution, the time to conduct the investigation. disciplinary.

Summoned this Tuesday by Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, the Minister of Sports, James Blateau, the President of the French Gymnastics Federation, and its National Technical Director (DTN), Kevinn Rabaud, were informed of these measures taken within the framework of the fight against violence in sport. Kaylia Nemour authorized to compete for Algeria

For his part, the president of the Federation, James Blateau, is committed to the implementation of new measures to ensure a more respectful practice of gymnastics for athletes. Among them: more visibility left to the ministry’s reporting platform, on the federal site; awareness-raising among federal players, the organization of the “Ethics and Performance Gym” meetings, and even closer collaboration with the “Colosse aux pieds d’argiles” association.

In addition, other ongoing procedures in the gymnastics community were discussed. The young Kaylia Nemour, 16, is “liberated” by the French Gymnastics Federation and should a priori be able to participate in the African championships under the colors of Algeria as she wished, although her former federation “considers that her physical integrity is not sufficiently respected”.

Vincent Pateau, technical director of the Marseille training structure and recently sentenced to a six-month suspended prison sentence for acts of harassment of athletes, will be notified of an inability to exercise any supervisory function. Finally, the Minister also called for the ongoing investigation into the Avoine-Beaumont club to be completed as soon as possible.
